i live a minimalistic life deep in the SC woods, in a Walden-esque cabin, wildlife abundant (coyotes, deer, turkeys, hawks, rabbits, etc) and I belong to the 'Stewardship of Creation' movement among churches, which helps provide wildlife habitats and green spaces for all God's children. Some of my own child's ashes are at Angel's Rest at the Best Friends Sanctuary.
I try to foster a shelter dog once a year, spay/neuter and train and then adopt out to a great home only. I have my daughter's doggie Nadine, a poodle/snugglebunny mix :> and a 1 yr old goofy dobie, TimothyPavlov, who has uncut tail and ears and started out as a foster but....i fell in love! He's fluent in sign/hand signals, spanish and english but a big goofball. they are my loves!
