My very first experience with Best Friends was in 2005, when I spent a week at Celebration Station working with Mark Morgan and a wonderful group of volunteers. Truly one of the best experiences of my life! In Nov. 06, spent a week at Best Friends working with the cats in Little Lebanon with friends I'd made in NOLA. Got to see the amazing work they do at the Sanctuary first hand; absolutely life changing. In early August 2007, I spent a week in Pahrump, NV, volunteering at the FLOCK Sanctuary. It was hot, exhausting and supremely rewarding. I have since been back to Kanab twice and plan another trip later this year.
