Back from the Team Leader retreat

Hi Oregon Team,

I've been back now for a week from the retreat, I'm just trying to allow all the info to soak in and actually try to apply some of it as well, it's been a slow process but I'm getting there :)

The retreat was a wonderful time of learning, sharing and bonding with the other team leaders. We had quite a lot of discussion about the new network and were able to get some answers as well as ask more questions. I think it will be a slow process of trial and error where the utmost patience with yourself, team members, team leaders and network support will help ease the process. Eventually we'll have it all down and it will be like second hand :)

In the meantime I am still taking as many training classes as possible, even if I've already taken them once before I taking them again, just to make sure this all sinks in. If you run across anything at all that I can help with please don't hesitate to send me an email, that's what I'm here for.

I'm planning on rolling out a monthly conference call soon for all our team members so we can connect with each other, share our ideas, questions, answers and thoughts.

Have fun with the new network and have fun with what you're doing for the animals. Try not to forget that the bottom line of why we all do what we do is for the welfare and happiness of the animals.
