Pets - Two. One wonderful Torti kitty named Jersey Grrl from a nearby rescue and one Tabby grrl named Sugar who was originally a "foster". I trapped her here in town. She was skin and bones with an old untreated fracture of her left rear leg. I was NOT going to keep her but she looked into my eyes and.....

Supporter of Best Friends, have been to the Sanctuary and volunteered there three times (with my sister) and hope to go many more times.
The outside kitties in my photos are ferals. The dark torti is Warrior Queen Maeve - boss of all the ferals - who has since passed on. The white and tabby is Piglet. I have recently been able to touch/pet her lightly while she eats. It's taken four years to be able to do that.

I am very sad to update this profile with the news that Piglet is gone. I believe she died on either 2/19 or 2/20/07. I found her lying on her side next door. Life outside is so hard. There are just so many dangers.
