I spent ten days volunteering with Best Friends in New Orleans and it was the most amazing experience. One-Eyed Jack, my cat in the picture, was from New Orleans and was found with a missing eye, tail, and four fractures in his legs. He also had feline leukemia. I brought him back to Canada to be adored for the rest of his life. *Jack crossed the bridge on June 22, 2008. He was my animal soulmate and I miss him more than I can say*
