Heather-Anne Burwell is the State Coordinator with Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska. Prior to joining, Heather worked for Gallup and consulted with clients on using Human Sigma, strengths-based development, leadership development, employee selection, and employee and customer engagement to enhance management practices to promote effective business outcomes. Heather has consulted with clients retail, financial services, hospitality, non-profit, government and educational industries.Heather received her bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. Heather is an Animal Behaviorist (Auburn University)and is active in animal rescue has been a member of Camp Bobe Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. She works with DECA, and has served on the board of directors and as chairperson of the Business Partnership Network. She received recognition as a DECA Award of Merit recipient in 2005 and as an Outstanding Business Partner in 2006. Heather is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts having earned both her Gold and Silver award as well as being named 2001 Outstanding Volunteer. . She is also a classically trained soprano and has performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Vatican in Rome.She is currently writing a book about Rescue Animals who inturn rescued their owners.
