Before acquiring a Denver zip code, Amy Angelilli split her time between social responsibility marketing and animal welfare. Her public relations agency, smaart PR, specialized in social issues local to Philadelphia. She also founded the all-volunteer People-Pet Partnership to bring the “No More Homeless Pets” movement to the City of Philadelphia. Amy has been featured in publications such as Women’s Day, The Philadelphia Daily News and The South Philadelphia Review. Since relocating to Denver, Amy opened The Feline Fix, Colorado's first high quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic specializing in feral and stray cats. Occasionally she breaks away from her own litter boxes to assist cats abroad. In 2005 she created a first-time adoption event at Torre Argentina, a Roman cat sanctuary built on the ruins where Julius Caesar was assassinated.
