Meera Bai was adopted from Best Friends on August 17, 2009. There, she was known as Sindy. I first met her on my birthday in May 2009, when a friend of mine took me to Best Friends to volunteer, on our way from Zion. Anyhow, on my birthday, I got to choose which Best Friend dog I would want for a sleepover. Since I am a Labrador lover and grew up with them all of my life, I had to choose "Sindy"-- she looked so stunning. Then, a month later, I brought my kids. In addition to volunteering with the pot-bellied pigs and the dogs, we had Sindy/Meera for another sleepover. So, after getting everything sorted out, she is with us and doing wonderfully!
