Blue Dog Boarding Needs Help for Rescues
Blue Dog Boarding in Burbank is housing 35 dogs from the puppy mill rescue that took place in Lancaster within the past week.
The facility is in need of blankets, dog beds and tiny dog collars and leashes—for dogs under 10 pounds. Most of the dogs have been breeding mothers who were scheduled to be spayed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped yesterday, May 6.
Those who can drop off supplies can do so at the gate to Blue Dog, 120 W. Linden Ave., Burbank 91502. There is a sign at the gate saying “Best Friends Puppy Mill Rescue” for donations. A staff member is scheduled to pick up donations and transfer them to where the dogs are staying. They ask that you please NOT call Blue Dog as they need all their resources for the dogs.
What You Can Do:In addition to supplies, there volunteers are needed to help with after-care today through Sunday. Call (310) 770-5886 to volunteer.
