UNCONDITIONAL COMPANION

Five years ago a simple question launched me into a project that would change my life: "Where do the homeless find their pets and how do they provide for them when they cannot care for themselves?" Over the course of four years I was able to infiltrate this transient society and my eyes were opened to an entirely different way of life.

Unconditional Companion is a photographic gallery exhibition that showcases the homeless who travel through life with a special friend. This exhibition is designed to bring the viewer closer to understanding a unique bond and see first-hand the plight of the homeless who have pets and the difficulties faced by the many rescue organizations, no-kill shelters, spay and neuter clinics, and veterinarians who work tirelessly to rescue animals in need. All of the images included in this exhibit will be on sale and the proceeds will be donated to three very special rescue and awareness charities.
