Urgent! Katrina Pet Reunion Volunteers Needed - Work From Home!

Mary Miller is heading up a vital team of volunteers to assist the Best Friends reunion staff in working through the backlog of requests from people trying to locate their lost Katrina Pets.

This is incredibly important work because we are coming to end of the first 90 day foster hold period. If you are internet savvy and can devote some time on a regular basis from home or work, please contact Mary Miller at lostandfoundvol@bestfriends.org.

I work for a no kill shelter and I managed to find one of the dogs we fostered heres owners and relocate her home :) That was a GOOD day. I have read every lost post thats on petfinder and I am computer savvy, I have some time during the day (animals here permitting) and plenty of time in the evenings to help all I can. We still have 2 dogs here that need to find their mom & dad :( would be the best Christmas gift ever for me if I could send them home. So please let me know what I can do to help.

The dog with the LSP spraypainted on the house has been reunited!!! This is a great program ~ I am a Remote Reunion Volunteer and the first contact with the people searching for their pets is so very important to determine if the pet is still missing and to gather valuable data to help in the search. Thank you to Best Friends for this opportunity. Coming to you from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, it's so nice to be involved in this awesome effort!

Volunteers are still needed. We have had a FANTASTIC virtual turnout of folks ready, willing, and able to help, but it's not too late to get in on the fun.

I live in Reynoldsburg, Ohio (near Columbus) My daughter and son-in-law live with me. We have 8 rescued animals: 6 dogs & 2 cats, most of whom we found in the street.

I do not work outside the home so I can help anytime of the day or night. Let me know what I can do!!

Hello - I am a volunteer looking to match a person with their dog. The dog was taken from their home on Cernay Street with spraypainting on the house "9/16 - Dog - LSP". Does anyone have any idea what the "LSP" stands for?
