Check “2010 Workshop dates are here!” for course availability information.

Click on the ‘Resources’ tab to the upper right.  Locate the class you are interested in.  Below the class name will be a collection of .pdf files.  You will need to download and return three items (four pages):

     ·     Registration Form with credit card information or check

     ·     Workshop Questionnaire – combined with the registration form

     ·     General and Specific Release:  Please read carefully and sign and initial where needed.

     ·     Volunteer Acknowledgement / Video Waiver:  Please read the General Volunteer Safety  

        Guidelines and the Safety Guidelines for Volunteering with the Animals first.

The other files contain useful information for you to read.  Completed registration packets must be accompanied by the appropriate fee or deposit.  Incomplete registrations will be returned to you or held until we receive all of your paperwork, delaying the process.

Cancellation Policy

Best Friends workshops are in great demand; we expect them to fill quickly and have waiting lists. We understand that things happen to make missing a workshop you've registered for unavoidable. If you need to cancel and would like your registration fee or deposit refunded we must be notified no later than 45 days prior to the start of the workshop so that arrangements can be made for a replacement to attend. With a 45 day notice, fees and deposits can be transferred to a later date or another workshop if available, or refunded. Fees and deposits paid with a credit card will be refunded as a chargeback to the credit card; those paid with checks will be issued a check in return. Cancellations with less than 45 days notice will receive a 50% refund of the total workshop fee.

Wait List

To get on a wait list, send an email to humane.ed@bestfriends.org providing contact information.  Specify the class and class date you are interested in.  You will automatically be put on the list.  Please note that, because of the volume of enquiries, no response will be sent.
