Our grounds are flourishing in spite of the drought, due to lavish watering, and we hope that folks will enjoy a walking tour, Saturday 25th at 6:00 P.M, ending around 8:00. If you came to Summer Celebration, our field day in July, you saw that we had constructed numerous innovative and whimsical structures for flowering vines, using scrap metal and dozens and dozens of bicycles. Kooky, krazy, kreative and cheap!

Those of you who have never seen our grounds or haven't been for a few years will be thrilled by the numerous new plantings and exciting collections.

The tour will be followed by a short presentation inside by yours truly on some awesome plants for fall and winter, followed by a short presentation by Rita Randolph on fall containers. If you haven't seen Rita's lavish collection of plants, you will be blown away. She will also have some for sale.

We also share cuttings (reasonably) of some of the plants here at the station, so bring plastic bags, paper towels and such if you want some.

Suggested donation is $20 per person, but $10 is appreciated. All proceeds will go to Loving Paws Rescue, a pet shelter in nearby Chester County that is currently being carried financially on the backs of the couple of remaining founders. There are more pets than are listed on that page, so call for more information or to describe what type dog or cat you want. We usually have something, or know another group that might have the pet to fill your need.

Please don't ask us to take in your unwanted pets as we are overwhelmed at this time.
