Update from Rottie Connection
Pictured: CiscoHere is the most recent update from Deb at the Rottie Connection. Deb took four dogs (Cisco, DeeOGee, Vanilla and Chewy) to work with through the Training Partners Program earlier this year. It sounds like they're all doing great!
E-mail from Deb:Wish you and Katie were here yesterday for National Dog Day. We took all the dogs (not Teddy, Bell, Rocco and Ares) to Petco and each and every dog was great, but Chewy was the star. The kids loved him especially when he would lay down for the really small children so they could pet him. Cisco was the charmer that he usually is and the men loved his classic look and everyone was shocked that the store was full of Rottie’s that were not barking. Dee-o-gee’s owner showed up with both De-o-gee and Jelly to visit us. Dee-o-gee looks great and would not leave Raymond’s or Jelly’s side, this was a great match.
Teddy is great with Steve now just a little hand shy when Steve is standing up. Teddy has a very strong protection issue. We are working on it but it will take time. We can’t wait for the new guys to get here.
We did some home checks and two of my boys are going to their forever home this week Morocco and Rocky. I have to do a home check for Sasha and she will be leaving also. We are going to visit Carol a couple of more times with Chewy, then he will be leaving. Cisco’s new mom should be back this month, then he goes home. I’m sad and happy for all of this because I love them.
Have to go we are evaluating a Mastiff and Rottie today.
