Another Training Partner Success!
This is an email we recently recieved from one of our Training Partners, Sarah Anderson from Nevada. Sarah took two Pit Bull Terriers into her care for training and adoption. Those dogs were named Adonis and Sophia.

Hi Ann,

Just wanted to update you that Adonis got adopted this past weekend. I have attached a picture of him with his new daddy- he is doing great and we miss him here, but this was the best home for him. He is such a sweet and loving boy!

Here's a copy of the e-mail update from his new home:

Hi Sarah,
So I thought you would find this amusing. After a rough night with poor Doni getting the runs and waking me at 2am to let him out (which was very considerate of him), I left him in his crate and went to school. I came home for lunch and who greeted me at the door? Doni of course, looking quite nervous because he knew he should probably not be out and about. Seems he did not really care for the soft crate, so he exited via a hole he carved in the front door. I found this quite amusing, actually, and to my surprise the house was undisturbed aside from one item; his water bowl was nowhere to be found. It eventually appeared, upside down in the bathroom behind the toilet
(I have no idea how he managed that).

Anyway, so I went and purchased a proper crate, which he seems to obviously prefer (he is sleeping in it right now after a long walk that went very smoothly), as he did not go in his soft crate much when he had the option (he would lay on the floor instead). I don't think the soft crate provided the security he was looking for, especially after he discovered how easy it was to escape. :) Anyway, thought I would share this with you.

Cheers,
Aaron McVean

Hope things are going well with you - hopefully after the holidays we'll be able to come up and get a couple more needed dogs!
