I see the horse on the pasture across the way. It looks calm and grazes. Every time a car drives by she lifts up her head a tad. She is very aware of her surroundings. I am tempted to go see her and bring her a carrot. I am tired and go out to the patch and lay down on the blanket… I slowly doze off under the warm sun. When I wake up the horse was gone. I got a little sad and worried. I am afraid she wandered into the street. Then I looked behind me and there she was; majestic, graceful and magically lovely. I slowly back away to the house and grab a carrot. When I walked up to the horse her ears fell back and she stepped away really quickly. I then came to a quick realization… she was wild. Then I noticed she had absolutely no tags or anything that would show she had an owner. I knew I should give her some space. This horse is beautiful and I need to leave her alone and respect her space; alone, lovely, majestic and WILD.
