Forums are no longer listed separately. You will need to go to the Group, Go Local or Campaign and then click on Forum from the right-hand menu.

Adding to Favorites

Once you’ve found a Forum that you like, if you would like to bookmark it by adding it to your Favorites, follow these steps:

Open any topic in the Forum. Click on the “More” button that is next to “Reply.” That will bring up a menu.

Click on either “Add this forum as a favorite” to bookmark the forum, or you may choose to just bookmark individual forum threads by clicking “Add this post as a favorite.”

The next time your visit your Personal Home Page by clicking on “Welcome, (your name)!” you can scroll down to the bottom left corner of the page and you will see that your bookmark has been added to your Favorites.

Subscribing

When you subscribe to a Group, Go Local or Campaign, you will receive email notification of any activity. To subscribe, go to the homepage for that group and click on “Subscribe.”

Receiving an alert for forum posts

If you would like to receive e-mail notification when a reply is posted to a thread, open that thread. At the top right of the post, you will see, “Email me when someone replies.” Click that link.

Note: When you opt to receive an e-mail when someone replies, the e-mail comes from networksupport@bestfriends.org. DO NOT RESPOND TO THE E-MAIL. The e-mail is just a notification. If you wish to respond to the post, you must go to the Network by clicking on the link contained in the e-mail.
