L'Chaim enjoys playing with other dogs & people in foster care!
L'chaim (pronounced L'Hayim) finally left the animal hospital yesterday with a clean bill of health and a much bigger bill than estimated. L'Chaim is a true ambassador for his breed, as he is very friendly, playful, affectionate, cuddly, athletic, fun and wants to please his people. Add this to the fact that he's playful with other dogs, and you have the amazing L'Chaim!
L'Chaim had a great time with the vet techs and staff during his vet stay, but he has even more fun riding in the car with his temporary foster dad Adam. They stopped at Shelter Showcase Headquarters (okay, my house) to pick up a crate and other essentials, and for L'Chaim to model for more photos, play ball in the yard, explore the house and meet other dogs!
We are also happy to announce that Shelter Showcase is helping plan and promote the Winter Adopt-a-thon at the PetSmart in Wayne on November 22 & 23 and December 19 - 21 where L'Chaim will be available to make new friends and hopefully find a home!
How You Can Help: Donate to L'Chaim's veterinary bill which is still climbing. We have raised under half of the $1250 that totaled from his medical baording, and he's going for his neuter surgery tomorrow. All
donations are tax-deductible.
Forward this
page to family and friends who may want to adopt, donate or volunteer, or who may know someone who does!
Promote L'Chaim and the adoption events by posting
flyers at your office cubicle, grocery store, etc, or posting links on your Myspace or Facebook pages.
Volunteer to foster L'Chaim, bring him home for a day visit or help show L'Chaim and other pets for adoption at the upcoming adoption weekends. Please email
beth@sheltershowcase.com if you can help!
