Animal Care Services adds local smile-makers to “National Find a Dentist Day”

As Charlie Brown once observed, “Happiness is a warm puppy.” And smiles will be the order of the day at the inaugural “Paws for Smiles” community event when puppies (and dogs) will be available for on-site adoptions. Then, to ensure the future of those smiles, the dentists of The Smile Center will offer free dental health screenings. Radio personalities, Chips and Salsa (the Animal Care Services mascots) and prize drawings will add to the festive atmosphere of “Paws for Smiles.”

• Pet adoptions (dogs & puppies available for adoption at both locations)
• Dental screenings (on-site dentists offering dental health screenings)
• Live radio remotes (The Beat at Las Palmas; Mix 96 at Military Plaza)
• T-shirt giveaways
• Hourly drawings for FREE pet adoption
• Spurs vs. LA Lakers tickets GRAND PRIZE
• Appearances by ACS mascots, Chips and Salsa
• FREE Quiznos “Sammies” for the first 50 adoptions/dental appointments
• FREE balloons and other promotional items

Cost: Admission is free, adoptions are $81 (includes microchip, vaccinations, spay/neuter)
