Five Free TNR Workshops Held Monthly in San Antonio and Bulverde
First 2009 workshop starts this Sunday, January 4
By Jenny Burgess, President of San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition (SAFCC)People who are feeding outdoor cats and are concerned about their increasing numbers and safety will be amazed at how easy it is to safely and humanely keep the numbers controlled.........Come learn why Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) is the only method that works effectively. The free workshops will provide tips, instructions and resources to manage the free-roaming
cat population in the community.
In 2009
San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition and
Animal Rescue Connections will run five free workshops per month at libraries throughout San Antonio and Bulverde. The workshops are planned at weekends and weekdays at various times to make it easy for people to select a location and time to suit their schedule.
The next workshop is this Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the library at 4618 Thousand Oaks, San Antonio (
map to location).
Controlling the outdoor cat populations is an integral part of San Antonio's goal to become no-kill. We are all custodians of our environment. Join us at a workshop and get informed so you can inform others! Thanks,
Happy New Year!
