New Year’s Resolutions? Finish the Manuals, Bring on the Trainings . . .
Rapid Response is making inroads in the long and arduous process of compiling and expanding on the information collected from dedicated volunteers and staff who met in Las Vegas and Kanab to download their expertise in disaster response.
Rich Crook, Rapid Response Manager, is heading up the laborious effort and overseeing the critical components of information that continues to amass from a variety of sources – namely volunteers and staff with specialized knowledge and skills.
What does that mean? It means that a whole lot of people are dedicating a whole lot of time to insure that this project is not only completed, but honed as a highly valuable and state-of-the-art tool for Rapid Response and animal rescue.
It also means that the manuals’ completion will bring RR one step closer to providing a series of Volunteer training seminars in 2007.
Yes, Virginia, 2007 is looking bright for Rapid Response, and the only way to make it brighter is for you to become a member of our team.
Training schedule for Rapid Response Volunteers will be announced first quarter, 2007.
