****If you do not have space to absorb any of these refugees, please pass on the word to any and EVERY REPUTABLE no-kill shelter or rescue you know of in TX, AZ, NM and CA*****

Right now we have again had our plans changed as the weather changes.

I need to know what rescues or no-kill shelters have space along the route to CA.

There is a potential of another 100+ dogs that need transport (as of 5pm CST) I have a place for 15 of them, but i need to know who can take more along the way. Its an addition game, but i can deal with math ;) On this transport only dogs that have shown NO previous agression to any human and NO agression toward ANY animal will be welcome.

Some of you have already told me what breeds/ types of animals you can take on, but i am going to have a hard time getting a clear number with the information i have so far.

All animals will travel with a health certificate and all shots will be UTD prior to transport.

Please let me know:
1. how many dogs you can make room for, if any.

2. What breeds you can do or what sizes/ types of dogs you can do.

3. please change the subject line to reflect if you can take dogs
examples:
Dallas, TX- 5 danes or mastiffs
Fresno, CA - 3 Setters or other similar hunting breeds
El Paso, TX - 4 cats
San Francisco, CA- 10 any breed/ size dogs

This will help greatly in sifting through emails and contacting the right people. Any questions please let me know.

Any animals moved to you will then become your sole responsibility and property to place as you see fit. Even if you just care for them while you work at finding an appropriate breed rescue or other NO-KILL org to take them in that is fine. They are homeless and were homeless before the storm. Bottom line is if they go back to LA shelters that are kill shelters.... they will not be left standing.
