Peaceful pet store protests are extremely effective opportunities to educate the public about the realities of puppy mills and the benefits of adopting rather than buying a pet. Our presence in front of the pet store helps people understand the connection between the puppies they see for sale inside and the cruel and inhumane conditions under which they are bred, as well as the direct impact it has on our already overcrowded shelters.
