Utah Cat Seems to Sense Suffering, Death

In the wake of the news story about Oscar, the Rhode Island cat who seems to sense when one of the residents is nearing the end, other care centers are sharing the stories of their own resident cats with special abilities.

One of these is Max, who lives at the lives at Alpine Valley Care Center in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Max was featured Friday on the website of KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We have a cat like this at the extended care unit in Truckee,CA. I do pet therapy there with my dog.
They have a cat named Barney who they got from our local humane society. Barney has free roam of the extended care unit but allways seems to hang out with those who are next to die. It is amazing isnt it?? Cats are very comforting animals tho aren't they.
