I first heard about Best Friends Animal Sanctuary many years ago when my aunt lent me the book about how it all started. Then, last April, my cat Nellie had to be euthanized suddenly and i was heartbroken, devastated, etc. That evening, I went online and found my way to the Best friends Message Forum; specifically, Prayers, Healing and Support. And I've recently gotten connected to this network from there.

I find it very healing to read about all of the positive things that are being done for pets, and it is very healing for me to be able to connect to others who have also dealt with this kind of grief.
