Thank you so much for the update. We having been thinking about all of you. So glad Ziggy is still alive and eating.
We will continue all our prayers for all of you. Thank you again. Many healing prayers
The tissue around Ziggy's wound is dying; hence Dr. Mike says he is going to have to do more surgery. He is going to remove her stitches (she will be heavily sedated) and take out all the necrotic tissue, and then restitch her up. We'll see how it goes...
I am very, VERY attached to Ziggy, and I really want her to live, and to be happy. But I have no idea how this story is going to turn out. Everyday I must tell myself a thousand times, turn it over to God. Turn it over to the angels.
Please send your love to Ziggy, and to Ziggy's mom, Ruthie. Thank you so much. You are all so very kind, and I love each one of you with all my heart.
Poor little Ziggy, and poor Ruth and Jeanne too. We'll update Ziggy on the Special Needs list for Monday, and I know everyone will be praying hard that the surgery will work and give her more quality time with her mom and her dear friends.
Thank you, Jeanne, for letting us know.
Hugs
Marion

Intellectually, I could say I'm not surprised that Ziggy is having troubles, but that's not how it feels. It is SO hard to hear about it, knowing what everyone has been through. Jeanne is right you have to turn it over to God and let it work out as it should, but too bad that doesn't mean you can put it out of your mind or the pain out of your heart. Have been keeping Ziggy and all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and will continue to do so.
Peace, comfort and blessings to all.

Oh my gosh Jeanne!!I cannot imagine what you must have gone through.. I knew you were one tuff lady with a spirit like no other, but really!! :) I'm sure with all the fur souls you and Robin have saved you had many guardian angels watching over you.
I know with out a doubt that Coyote didn't know what had hit him.... I do not have children so my pups were my children and I understand the mama bear coming out of you.
May God continue to watch over all of you.. may Ziggy continue to gain strength every day and may your visions fade quickly...
My biggest prayers headed your way....I thank God you are Ok. stay strong Ziggy and Jeanne!!!
Big hugs !!!!

Pat...thanks for pointing me in the right direction to find the updates on Ziggy. I surely would not have found it otherwise. I knew there must have been something about this, just didn't know where to look. Your article was amazing...and reading the updates from Jeanne...I can't imagine what she went through, but very thankful that her gift led her to Ziggy that day. Jeanne...take it easy for while...but please keep us updated on Ziggy's progress.
Glorious news! Ziggy went home with his mom, Ruthie, yesterday! Dr. Mike and the rest of the BF clinic staff are amazed. They said they have never see anything like this. Ziggy, the miracle dog, the wonder dog, they are calling her. Even a few days ago, they thought she wasn't going to survive, as she had developed a major staph infection. But she did more than survive--she is thriving! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU all so much for your loving support. Hugs and kisses to all!
Love, Jeanne
