This year so far has been amazing for the Parrot Garden. We have had parrots flying out the door, which has made room for others who need our help to fly in. As of today we've had 31 Parrots find their Forever Homes. 

The Parrot Garden is also currently working with a person in Salt Lake City who has become overwhelmed by the number of parrots in her home. She used to be a breeder, and she has quite a few companion parrots as well. At the beginning there were almost 100 birds. That's as many as we have here at Best Friends! We have given medical attention to, and helped find placement for, approximately 40 of her birds so far.

The parrots here have also been the benefactors of a wonderful toy drive, and made some great connections at the International Parrot Symposium.

There have been many wonderful volunteers and groups through to help us keep the Parrot Garden clean and the birds stocked in foraging toys.
