About Lady Opal
"Yes, I AM beautiful. Thank you for noticing!
Opal doesn't have any self-esteem problems. She likes for you to pet her. But if you fuss over her too much for too long, she may start giving you "diva attitude. She tolerates other cats, but she thinks they're beneath her. So she really couldn't care less whether there are fellow cats in her new home or not. Just so long as there's plenty of attention left for The Most Important Cat!
Opal actually came from a very sad situation. She was one of the hundreds rescued from a neglectful animal shelter in Pahrump, Nevada, that was shut down. Not only was she not getting attention there; she wasn't even getting basic care and regular meals. So it shows what a strong character she has, that she's the delightful princess you see before her, despite her ordeal. Many of the other cats are still cowering in fear. But not Opal! She's ready to find love.
She's only five years old, healthy, and would really enjoy an adult home. What do you say?
