March webinars now filled, but recordings will be available online

All three webinars are now full; however, a recording will be posted to the No More Homeless Pets Resources, in the Webinar Recordings folder, toward the end of March.

Once again, Best Friends Animal Society and Petfinder are teaming up to present the third in a series of informative topics to the animal welfare community via free online webinars.

Learn what you can do to help save more animals in our shelters by understanding how lost pets impact our shelters. The “Think Lost, Not Stray” webinar, featuring Kat Albrecht founder of Missing Pet Partnership, focuses on how lost pets (also known as “strays”) contribute to higher shelter kill rates, feral cat colonies, and high homeless pet populations.

Discover why strays go unclaimed in shelters, the challenges to recovering lost pets, what services shelters and rescue groups can offer, lost pet behaviors, and more.
