Just a couple pictures I got of Pinky during my internship:

Pinky was one of my favorites to hang out with in my spare time. She is such a goofy little girl!

When was there ever -- ever -- a more adorable animal than Pinky Bear?  Does anybody but me notice the swishing tail in the second photograph, with the flattened out area beneath?  Look at those eyes!  Look at that hopeful, honest, I-love-you expression!

Pinky, you sweetheart, if I didn't have eight dogs in the house right now, you'd come home with me!

I guess we'd have to call those "sandy tail-angels".

She did just have the surgery on her knee and is now residing at the Clinic, raking in the spoils of lavish attention.

I talked to Dr Mike yesterday and she came through her surgery ok - he said she's recovering a little slow but doing ok.  I am hoping by the end of the week I can visit her and if I get a chance to see her I will certainly post an update for everyone.  She's my favorite here - and that says a lot since there are so many great ones here!!!  I am just madly in love with her.....unfortunately I have 9 dogs in my house and she would NOT like that environment one bit!!!!  Otherwise she'd be mine for sure!!!!

Thanks for the update.  I took her on short-ish walks when I was there a few weeks ago and enjoyed her leisure pace after walking someone like....say.....Palmer :-)  I hope she has a speedy recovery - she's a sweet heart !

I didn't know that Pinky Bear needed surgery on her knee.  Which knee was it?  What had happened to her?

And of course, I'd be very grateful to see an update.  Is she walking -- is she eating well?  Has everybody at the clinic noticed how wonderful she is?

yep - fencing. she is up and around - I saw one of the vet techs taking her out behind the clinic for a potty break but was with my class group so couldn't see her but she looked happy and was just hopping around on 3 legs. I think it's her left one but not positive. I hope to visit her the end of the week and if I do get a chance to I will definitely update everyone on how she is doing. I am sure they know how wonderful she is - if you meet her for 1 minute how could you not?!?!? love that girl!

I got to sit with PB for about 45 min in her run at the clinic - she is in good spirits - looks like she did quite a number on her knee and couldn't put any weight on it but was as loving and sweet as ever and had plenty of kisses and cuddles for me.   It was great to see her altho I am sad i couldn't sleep in bed with her this time!  But she seems to be well on her way to recovery and I let her know all her fans were thinking of her and praying for her speedy recovery and let her know we all love her very much!

Much love to you Pinky Bear - take it easy and get better soon so you can enjoy more outings and sleepovers as soon as possible!  love ya girl!  (and thanks Patty for pulling some strings for me to get to visit her!!!)   Jeanne - sorry I missed you today but glad I got to see you yesterday!

Oh my, I missed a couple days checking in on the network and just read about Pinky Bear's surgery.  Thanks for the update about how she's doing.  I'm sure she is loving all that attention she's getting in the clinic.  Get well soon, Pinky Bear...we're all wishing you a quick recovery!   Please keep us posted on PB's progress.

unfortunately I have to leave tomorrow morning so hopefully her caregivers and other visitors can keep us posted on her progress!!!!  I will be stopping in the clinic in the morning to return scratch who is on a sleepover with me tonight so I can ask when she might be allowed back in her run but it's probably best for her recovery she stay as still as possible for a while to make sure she heals properly.......hopefully she'll still be able to have visitors though since she is such a people lover!!!!  I know Jeanne will check on her and keep us posted (hint, hint)  :-)

I'm sorry to hear about Pinky.  But I know she's in good hands.

But, did I see Scratch is on a sleepover??  I hope you'll update on him.  I've been wondering how he's doing  since his move to the Lodges.
