...was blind but now I see (Update on Goliath)
Goliath (now named Roscoe pictured above with his new brother Jesse) was adopted into a wonderful family who lives in the country. He has gone from sleeping like a fearful street dog, always on alert for danger, to sprawling out on his back on a bed relaxed and content.

Goliath was found during KAT 5s search for Theo. We were called about a rottweiler that some children had found and were then seen abusing with sticks. We knew that this dog could not be Theo by the description (he is too young and large) but we of course went to rescue him.

“My goal is to erase the sadness from his eyes”, said Gerri Pharher Roscoe’s new "Mom".

It is incredible to think how Theo’s search led us to Goliath and these other dogs needing rescue. Goliath lived in fear just a few weeks ago. Now he has a loving home.

Ellie and Mckenzie (two other sweet rotts found during the search for Theo) are still in need of rescues or forever homes.

Theo's story of rescuing Rotts found during the search for him, and rescuing Milo as well, is amazing. Blessings on everyone all around, and especially Gerri for welcoming Cisco into her family. All the strays and homeless, hungry and afraid, should have such loving safety in which to rest.

And don't Jesse and Cisco look great together!

I just spoke with Gerri and Goliath is now going to be named Roscoe instead of Cisco. I told her that I do not care what she calls him as long as she loves him! :)

She said that she does love him and that he has his forever home. Gerri said that she is amazed that Roscoe is so joyful after what had happened to him. When she walked him this morning and people passed by, he made sure that he was close to her touching her legs with his body. He then carried on his merry way, wagging and looking around at the world...

He sounds like he's going to be a wonderful ambassador for the Rottweiler breed!
