...was blind but now I see (Update on Goliath)
Goliath (now named Roscoe pictured above with his new brother Jesse) was adopted into a wonderful family who lives in the country. He has gone from sleeping like a fearful street dog, always on alert for danger, to sprawling out on his back on a bed relaxed and content.
Goliath was found during KAT 5s search for Theo. We were called about a rottweiler that some children had found and were then seen abusing with sticks. We knew that this dog could not be Theo by the description (he is too young and large) but we of course went to rescue him.
“My goal is to erase the sadness from his eyes”, said Gerri Pharher Roscoe’s new "Mom".
It is incredible to think how Theo’s search led us to Goliath and these other dogs needing rescue. Goliath lived in fear just a few weeks ago. Now he has a loving home.
Ellie and Mckenzie (two other sweet rotts found during the search for Theo) are still in need of rescues or forever homes.
