Who shook the snow globe?
Photo of the Best Friends rabbit rescue ranch on Easter Sunday morning.Rabbits and rescue workers awoke to a white Easter morning as quarter-size snow flakes covered the ground. Clutches of bunnies snuggled together, and
volunteers bundled up, opting for warm hats rather than Easter bonnets.
The sound of buzzing saws echoed through the ranch, with people building dozens of new rabbit shelters and bunny feeders. Spirits were not damped, though jackets were soaked as volunteers pressed on, determined to maintain their ambitious schedule, despite the snow and cold.
Lunch provided a welcome relief as Chef Glen dished up steamy hot cups of soup that warmed both hands and stomachs. The snow continued to fall on this beautiful if unusual Easter Sunday at the Best Friends bunny rescue ranch.
