A letter Home to my friends at FHS

Hello to everyone, it is me! Zinnia! 

I guess you guys wonder where I went or did you figure it out already?  I went to my forever home and you will NEVER guess who lives here with me!  ZEPHYR do!

When I firstest got here, I were scared to come in the door, but then I smelled my brother and I decided to go in. Him ran up to me and we said a quick hello.  I found this lovely place to jump up on to (I later discovered it is a couch meant for humans, but that don’t matter much to me) where I could observe everything and see where I were…it wasn’t anything like the shelter. 

 

Ms. Kelly was with me.  You guys remember her?  She picked me up from Ms. Lisa far far away from the shelter.  I weren’t afraid though.

Do you know, I have another Brother now; actually 2 new brothers.  When Zephyr left the shelter I thought I was down to only one brother, but now I back to having 2 oh wait; make that 3.  My new dog brother is Jiminy and he is B I G! 

He seemed very happy to see me; at first.  Now him gets grumpy with me so I give him lots of space. I guess him figured out I wasn’t just bisitin but I am stayin forevers.  My other brother is a kitty named Bissa.  Him ok, but if you stick you nose to close to his face – like when you checkin to see what he ate, he WILL bite you on you nose.  He is fun to chase too, but momma says not to do that, but sometimes I just can’t help it.  We do share the couch sometimes though

My new home has this great place in the back with a high wooden fence for me, Zephyr and Jiminy to play, poop and hang out.  You know what, Zephyr was right, it don’t have that sand stuff it got that nice soft green grass stuff and he was right again; it DO taste GOOD! There is also a pool

 

 and a big shaded deck.  *There is much more green stuff on the deck now!

Ok, so the pool is a small baby pool but works for me and Zeph.  My new mom, her name is Lisa, she said that next year she will get me and Zephyr a bigger pool to play in!   Zephyr and I play ALL the time – we love to play on Momma’s bed; especially when her is sleeping!  She makes funny noises when we do that.

I been here in this place for a while now (31 days in human counting) and I got the situation figured out…a’course, Zephie filled me in on lots of stuff, but I figured a lot of it out all by myself. Here is what I know:

1. My new momma is a sucker for a cute face

2. Couches and human beds are wonderful to sleep on *note bone*

 

3. My momma will give you what you want if you look cute at her

 

4. If you are scared enough; you can fit through a doggie door that is meant for smaller dogs (noise Monster – see #14) excepts if u are Jiminy

 

5. My momma loves to hug

6. Poopie accidents are frowned upon but understood it’s an accident

7. My momma loves to kiss you

8. You get treats more frequently

9. My momma takes me on walks and car rides

10. Belly rubs Rock

11. My momma protects me from mean Jiminy

12. Bows in your hair aren’t all that bad

13. My momma will protect me from Zeph when he bites my legs or grabs my ears and pulls

14. You can easily go from 0 to 90 in 2 seconds flat when a big noise happens (referring to #4)

15. You can in fact, pop out a screened in window without ripping the screen (see #14)

16. Kitties are fun to chase

17.Them Cell phones don’t taste good. And finally;

18.Having your forever home with a forever momma is reely very good.

 

 

Don’t you guys worry any about me.  I am very good.  I have my brother Zephyr and we play all the time.  We sleep together when momma isn’t home and we get into trouble…well, Zephyr do; I just follow along to observe. He do try to blame me for stuffs like when he ate up momma’s new BF Magazine and hid it under my bed in my crate.

I’m learning that those humans aren’t so bad; at least my momma human isn’t so bad.  I gave her a kiss the other day to show my appreshashun for all her do for me.  I think she liked it.  I may do it again.

 

Hi Timber and Bunny.  Miss you guys…..just a little. 

 

Thanks to FHS for letting me stay there and rescuing me from death.  Momma, Zephyr and I will be forever thankful for that.  Jiminy is still on the fence.

 

I hope you all find a forever home really soon…..put on your reely cute faces and sit on your bottoms and look longingly at them humans; it works, I swear! *see picture under #1
