"Moving Fast is Not Necessarily the Same Thing as Going Somewhere" - Anon
But soon-to-be mama Angie wasn't concerned with semantics as she evaded capture. UPDATE: PUPS MAKE THEIR DEBUT! NEW PICS 2-20-09
This sight of three adults trying to corral a pregnant heeler mix was one to behold; although weighed down with many pups in that small, swollen belly, Angie managed to outwit all three for about 30 minutes before she made one wrong turn that ultimately saved her and the unborns' lives.

Her travelling buddy - who by physical appearance was a littermate - met his fate on the Gap's two-lane highway earlier that afternoon.
X-rays, ultrasound and extent of milk production all point to another 72 hours before the 8 babies are ready to meet their mom. In the mean time, Angie is learning to trust people, slowly but surely losing her fear and actually taking pleasure in her twice-daily mommy massages.
