Our 20th Anniversary celebration really gets in full swing at our annual Country Hoe Down at Farm Sanctuary s New York Shelter on August 5 - 6. Tour the farm, meet the animals, learn about farm animal issues and campaigns, network with like-minded people, enjoy fantastic vegan food and dance the night away during our barn dance. Farm Sanctuary is the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization. Since incorporating in 1986, we have worked to expose and stop cruel practices of the “food animal” industry through research and investigations, legal and legislative actions, public awareness projects, youth education, and direct rescue and refuge efforts.
