Bad picture of this beautiful boy! While its still cute, it does not do him justice. He is so handsome, and quite a wiggler! He wants to be right up next to you, so it was really hard to get a good shot of him. Scooter is an absolute love! He came from the same hoarding situation in Texas as Benson. He is still very skinny, but we are putting the weight on. This little guy is so cute! He is a bit hand shy and nervous of quick movements, but he is SOOOOOOO affectionate! He would gladly just lay on top of you all day if you would just pet and talk to him.
He looks like a leaner to me!!! I can't wait until I can get up there to pet him!
If you want to SEE a change, you have to BE the change.
This little guy is is absolute L-O-V-E! He just wants to wrap himself around you and love you. I met him last week.. There were many volunteers, and he was the only one that had not gotten walked yet, so my girlfriend and I shared him... he had 2 of us all his own.. I immediately fell in love with him.. I then went back and took him for a morning outing. We walked all over town.. he enjoyed seeing his reflection in the store front glass.. he's just a little character. I would take him in a second, but have 2 aging dogs at home that need some special care. Would love to keep track of him.. and praying the he get's a wonderful 'forever' family soon. He deserves to be pampered!
Scooter has been adopted and leaves for his forever home in Atlanta, GA this morning! Safe travels sweet boy!!!
I was volunteering at the Fairway at the same time as Scooter's adopters (they didn't know yet that they were adopting him) - a very nice young couple who will take GREAT care of him.
I want to congratulate Jen and Angie - if not for their kindness and their wonderful attitude with volunteers, these dogs wouldn't have such great chances for wonderful homes. You guys are fabulous and should be very proud of what you do for the dogs - and for their new families who will get so much joy from these sweet puppies!

Ditto! These dogs get such great care from their care givers. I fell in love with this little guy when I was there and even had to go back and take him for an outing to realize that I couldn't give him the attention he needs with my aging 2 loves at home. I think it would have been much too stressful for all three needy angels. So, I have a picture of little Scooter at my desk at work and on a table at home.. sending him love and hope for a very special home. He has so much love to give, and I'm so glad he has a special family to grow with and be loved. Looking forward to updates on this special little guy. May you be loved as much as you want to give.
YA YA for Scooter, and i have to say DOUBLE DITTO as far as the great caregivers. I haven't met Angie but i have met Jen and she really is one of a kind..
