Codota is a WONDERFUL 7 year old boy! He was brought to Best Friends by a couple who live in Las Vegas. The couples sister gave them Codota when she suddenly had to move. Unfortunately they found out Codota could not live with cats, so they had to give him up. This guy is so lovable! He loves people and also likes other dogs, although he meets them nervously at first. Codota was not sure of Simbah AT ALL when we first introduced them. A week later, they are the best of buddies!

I think I saw this guy on CL in Vegas a while back. It is great that BF can take in some of our Foreclosed On Dogs here. It is such a huge problem in Vegas. It makes me sad every day when I see this happening. I have a foster doggy who was in the same situation..but his owner thought he should get put to sleep. The vet he took him too convinced him to let him try to find a rescue that would take him. And now I am his foster mom. If I could take every one of these poor dogs or cats in, I would.

I took Codota on his first sleepover last week and he was very well behaved. We went to an outdoor patio for dinner and he sat nicely next to me the whole time and didn't beg once. After dinner we walked around town and once again he was perfect. His only "quirk" was that he would not get on the bed. At one point I put him up on the bed and he jumped right down. He must not have been allowed on the bed at his last home. Please consider Codota for a sleepover or an outing, you won't regret it.
