The 5th grade students at J. Marlan Walker International School in Henderson, Nevada have an animal club worth howling about!

The club is called L.A.B.S. (Lovable Animals Boarded in Shelters). Our mission is to educate our community about the pet overpopulation problem plaguing our county.

Some of our accomplishments include informational booths, educational lessons to students in our school, volunteering at local shelters, bake sales, poster contests and making jewelry, blankets and gift baskets to sell as fundraisers.

Our future is looking brighter with students like these leading the way!

Purchase items and tell other people about this wonderful idea! We can encourage others so that these classroom clubs will multiply.
