Kids Making A Difference in Grapevine Texas
by Jennifer Andrews

Kids Making A Difference located in Grapevine, Texas joined the SPCA of Texas in their Strut Your Mutt fundraising event. The Kids Making A Difference President Stephanie Cohen formed team “Paws of Paris.”

Braving the cold together, Stephanie, Vice President Matt and 2nd V.P Connor and Paris (the Chihuahua) braved the cold to help raise fund for the SPCA of Texas. KMAD sponsored a booth to help spread the word about their organization and one of its favorite organizations, Best Friends Animal Society.

Luckily, cold weather wasn’t a deterrent for this animal loving crowd. Thousand came out to strut their mutts and the SPCA raised a total of $100, 000!

Kids Making A Difference started in June 2000 as a grass-roots effort by then 11-year old Stephanie Cohen. If you would like to read more about this organization and Stephanie’s efforts please visit http://www.kmad.org

What an uplifting story. It's great to see kids so involved in helping animals.
