Inviting everybody interested in, needing to know and help pet, stray, feral and barn cats in this part of the state. This community welcomes questions and suggestions from all over Nebraska.
While there's help rescuing, altering and all around caring for cats in the most populated parts of Nebraska, there are still large areas where cats are not doing well because of lack of education, veterinarian services, lack of ordinances, etc.
I can't help much in the profesional field_other than directing people to veterinarians_ but I can offer pointers and some answers to caring for ferals, pets and the ever growing population of barn cats in rural Nebraska.
I hope to inform these that care for feral and stray cats; we manage a feral colony in Fairbury and am always willing to share and learn from others experiences.
