On behalf of the members and officers of SUHOG, I want to congratulate you and Best Friends Sanctuary on a spectacular inaugural Bikers For Best Friends Poker Run.

The Best Friends staff and volunteers that helped at the dealership, poker stops and at the lunch were all absolute joys to work with and represented Best Friends in the best way possible.

The volunteers and staff at the lunch and the furry greeters working the crowd all made sure many of the first time visitors to the Sanctuary would return for a close up and personal visit. If you noticed, and I'm sure you did, there were smiles on everybody's faces the entire time they were involved with the event. I found my own cheeks were aching at the end of the day from the perpetual smile on my face.

Due to the combined volunteer efforts of Best Friends, the management and staff of Zion Harley-Davidson and SUHOG volunteers, an increased awareness of the need to place homeless pets in loving homes was brought to the Southern Utah community.

I understand several pets were adopted at this event! A huge success in itself.

We look forward to the 2nd Annual Bikers For Best Friends event. Guaranteed to be bigger, better and even more spectacular than the first!

Ross, I'm sure you have your hands full with the arrival of the dogs and cats from the Middle East rescue effort, but please share this note with, and express my personal thanks to all of the Best Friends management, volunteers and staff for their efforts.
