Established in 2002, Alley Cat Guardians is a non-profit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the free-roaming cat population in the greater Stanislaus County area by promotingTrap/Neuter/Return (TNR).  TNR is widely recognized as the only long-term, humane solution for controlling the free-roaming cat population.

Through our new, low-cost, high-quality sterilization and vaccination facility, Alley Cat Guardians empowers compassionate individuals to control their neighborhood free-roaming cat population and provide those cats with a safe and healthy living environment.   The ACG Spay/Neuter Facility is designed to sterilize 50 cats each day of operation, with a goal to alter 5,000 cats in the first twelve months of operation.
