The Great Bunny Rescue of 2006

The rabbits in the Great Bunny Rescue are becoming legends among house rabbits all across the country!

Whether it's their inspiring tale of survival or the fact that they're seeing to it that bunnies finally get the air time on TV that they deserve, it's hard to say. But Fang and Hazel clearly appreciated reading about the rescue in Best Friends Magazine. Their mom, Tracy Ducar, sent these photos from North Carolina. Tracy says it shows Fang and Hazel, learning about the Great Bunny Rescue for the first time.

So, did the situation upset them enough to tear the magazine to shreds! Or do they just not like the magazine very much? Quite the opposite! The rabbits here at the sanctuary say that shredding a magazine is the number one way of showing how much you value it. After all, once you've torn it to pieces, you can use it for ... oh well, enough said.

Thank you very much, Fang and Hazel. And thank you, Tracy for the kind donation, too!

My uncle from St. Louis recently sent me an article talking about how your organization has been helping rescue rabbits who are in an tough situtaion. After reading the article I was very touched to hear how you are putting so much hard work and a good effort into helping them out. I must say it is an awesome thing to do. I myself have two rabbits of my own and I love them to death. To see this happen to them would shock me and that is why im just writting to say keep up the good work and i hope you find all of these wonderful rabbits a good home.
God bless you all for your hard work
