We can only guess as to the breed and age. This dog is from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The dogs from the Reservation are very socialized with children and other dogs.
Vet care is pretty much nonexistent on the Reservation. Most dogs have mange, worms and some injuries. They are truly rescued from a short life and now, with your help, will live long healthy lives.

Jean recently ran up a vet bill trying to save a dog whose owner cut its infected eye out with a pocket knife. The poor dog was also hit in the face with a tire iron breaking many bones. The dog was humanely euthanized.
