Puppy Mill Bust in Tennessee

September 03, 2009, 2:41PM MT

More than 70 dogs and cats were found at a suspected puppy mill in Dickson County, Tennessee.

A total of 54 dogs and 18 cats were found on the property of Rose Wilson. Rescuers describe filthy conditions, untreated health problems, and inadequate shelter.

The animals are currently being sheltered at the Dickson County Humane Society and reports indicate the animals will be available for adoption from the Nashville Humane Association.

Her friend wants the HSUS to come down and help her take care of her dogs instead of taking them away? Is she retarded? Another one bites the dust.

Rose Wilson needs to be charged with animal cruelty. How can anyone say she loved her animals and then treated them that way. The mentality of some people never ceases to astound me. Good riddance to her, and may all these cats and dogs find a REAL home.
