Rabbit Care: Rabbits like rabbit pellets, occasional fresh vegetables (dark green and carrot), chopped alfalfa, and plenty of water. Don't feed them vegetables more than once or twice a week. Check food and water daily and remove leftover vegetables. Whether you use newspaper or some other form of cage covering on the bottom of the cage, change it often. Be sure to check for signs of sickness (earmites, diarrhea, runny eyes or nose). Since your rabbit's teeth grow continually, be sure to provide it with things to chew--like a block of unpainted wood.
