Hello -

I have an opportunity to help a dog named Ruby by bringing her to the US this Saturday via a passenger traveling from Rwanda to Newark Airport. I am not able to take her into my home as I already have four dogs. I am looking for someone who is willing to take her this Sunday into their home and foster her until a home can be found or until Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter can evaluate her on July 27th to see if they can take her into their no kill facility.

I have known Ruby since January 2009. She is a sweet, loving female dog, approx one year old and is uptodate on vaccinations(documentation will be provided as it is required for her to travel)

I would need someone to commit by this Wednesday at the latest as I would need to reserve a place for her with this person who is traveling from Rwanda to the US.

Currently Ruby is living on a chain at someone's house. The person who is taking care of her lost her job and no longer can afford to live there and has to move. If I don't bring Ruby here she will most likely end up on the street and abandoned.
