Join The Humane Society of the United States and Farm Sanctuary for a special workshop to find out how you can make a tremendous difference for farm animals in New York State and beyond. This event will take place on Thursday, Nov 5, 6:30-8:30PM at NYU Law School--Furman Hall (245 Sullivan St).
The presentation will spotlight key issues affecting farm animals and cover everything you need to know to be an effective citizen advocate for their protection. You'll learn basic, but effective, lobby techniques, how a bill becomes law, what influences a legislator, and what legislation affecting farm animals we expect to be considered by the state legislature.
Attend this free seminar and gather all the tools and techniques you need to be a successful citizen lobbyist. Don't forget to bring your photo ID for the school’s security desk. Hope to see you there!
This event is generously hosted and co-sponsored by the NYU Law School Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.
