ASPCA, Fresh Step & 9Lives Team Up to Stock Pet Food Banks

The ASPCA has teamed up with Fresh Step and 9Lives to launch a program this month to support pet food banks at shelters nationwide. The ASPCA Cat Assistance Program is a national grassroots effort to provide food and litter to cats whose owners are in need. The ASPCA estimates that over three million cats and kittens end up in shelters every year. With the bad economy, cats are in even more danger of ending up in a shelter.
