On May 21, 2009, Nutro Products announced a voluntary recall of nearly all of its dry cat food. Anyone who has purchased affected products are being advised to immediately discontinue feeding the product to their cats and switch to another product with a balanced nutritional profile. Nutro dry and wet dog food, wet cat food and cat and dog treats are not affected.
